Ask the library for help
Raise a request and it goes straight to the team that owns it, with a reference number you can follow. Opening hours, branches and the other ways to reach us are further down this page.
Tell us what you need
Six fields, of which four are required. The more the form knows before you write, the fewer questions come back to you.
What happens after you send
Every request follows the same four stages, and you can follow yours once you sign in.

Opening hours, branches and channels

Desk performance Last term
Last term’s figures, published by the library.
Based on 1,842 requests last term. Each library decides whether to publish these figures.
Every request gets a reference number and an email copy. Signed-in members can read the whole conversation, reply and close it themselves on the My requests page.
